In the renewed system of Aratos Earth Observation Data Platform the renewal of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) layer is updated. The NDVI is a simple graphical indicator that can be used to analyze remote sensing measurements, often from a space platform, assessing whether or not the target being observed contains live green vegetation.
Several sectors using NDVI. In agriculture, farmers use NDVI for precision farming and to measure biomass. In forestry, foresters use NDVI to quantify forest supply and leaf area index. Final, is a good indicator of drought. When water limits vegetation growth, it has a lower relative NDVI and density of vegetation.
We continue to innovate with space technologies since 2005.
